AB Report is a cloud-based Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software that integrates budgeting, accounting, controlling and business reporting into a unified process. Meticulously designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, it enables effective business management through analysis, understanding and comprehensive reporting. This software supports every stage of the continuous business management cycle, providing a robust framework for decision making, business transparency and financial optimisation.

AB report overview

AB Report consists of two integral components, each tailored to meet the different needs of business users (easy to use) and accountants or consultants (complex configuration settings).

  • Business User Section

    • Efficiently manage daily business tasks with customisable documents. These can be traditional paperwork such as invoices and purchase orders, or internal documents such as accounting memos or employee time cards. Documents are fully configurable in the software's settings section to suit individual business workflows.
    • Import documents from a variety of sources, including bank feeds and OCR for greater efficiency.
    • Keep business data up to date by managing information on business partners and product items. Categorise new data using configured classifiers.
    • Fill in pre-configured budgets to define expected revenues, expenses, performance metrics and resource allocations.
    • Manage and track inventory to ensure stock accuracy
    • Use custom reports and dashboards to gain control and monitor performance metrics
    • Leverage an embedded AI chatbot for business intelligence, natural language document creation and business process consistency testing
    • Perform advanced calculations with Excel Integration.
    • Analyse real-time financial statements with budget and actual data and drill-down capabilities
    • Generate one-click disclosure reports for management, owners, investors, banks or regulatory compliance
  • Settings section

    • Define an accounting taxonomy to meet the unique needs of the business with personalised financial, tax, and managerial accounting policies, performance metrics and non-financial data, cost structures, period-end processes, etc. for both actual performance tracking and planning. AB Report includes a library of country and industry specific accounting taxonomies that can be used and customised.
    • Specify the documents used by the business and their associated workflows, document properties and structure.
    • Set legal entity properties and configure tax settings for accurate financial reporting
    • Organise product items, fixed assets and business partners using classifiers
