Tracking non-financial metrics

As an EPM system, AB Report deals with aggregated management information, which can be both financial and non-financial. AB Report supports the manual collection (or import) of non-financial metrics for use in reports or other calculations.

Non-financial metrics are tracked and analysed with the same business dimensiona as financial data.

Setting up non-financial metrics

The list of non-financial metrics is displayed on the Key Performance Indicators page with the KPI calculation type "manually entered".

Tracking non-financial metrics

To track non-financial metrics, you need a special document template with Rows and Closing Action attributes, like this one. Non-financial metrics with required business dimensions are posted to the Non-Financial Data Ledger in the Accounting menu section. The data is available for use in reports.
