Within the AB Report system, users' access to information can be meticulously regulated through a combination of roles and individual user settings.
Segregation of Duties
The principle of segregation of duties allows users' capabilities to be fine-grained, preventing unauthorised access to sensitive information or the performance of certain tasks.
Users can be restricted on a number of dimensions within AB Report, including
- Editing and viewing data
- Accessing functions and menu items
- Control access by cost center
- Control access by business segment and project
- Access to financial information for specific accounts
- Handling of specific document types
- Post specific business transactions
- Access to specific reports
