Within the AB Report system, users' access to information can be meticulously regulated through a combination of roles and individual user settings.

Segregation of Duties

The principle of segregation of duties allows users' capabilities to be fine-grained, preventing unauthorised access to sensitive information or the performance of certain tasks.

Users can be restricted on a number of dimensions within AB Report, including

Editing and viewing data
Accessing functions and menu items
Control access by cost center
Control access by business segment and project
Access to financial information for specific accounts
Handling of specific document types
